Personal illustration - gift to a friend, Tracey King from U.K.. She's dying to have one real cheetah cub like in this painting. When I sent this painting to her, she cried in happiness, and told me if I ever watched the show "Big Cats Diary" from BBC Show based in the United Kingdom about the little cheetah named, Toto and his mother, Honey. Soon they both were in danger when two male lions posted threatening as they walks passing by Honey and Toto, but of course lucky enough that the two male lions didn't see Honey and Toto hiding as staying low in a long grasses. But for Honey, as a mother to protect her cub, she try everything to save her cub as she lured two male lions chasing her away, so Toto can escape. Soon she come back to look for her cubToto after she lured the lions chase her away, ... the both Honey and her little cub Toto splitted up and cannot find each others within a weeks. But for little Toto, sadly he die. I can't find that show anymore...

The cheetah cub was on his own, the dangerous journey after the mother lured the two male lions chase her away to avoiding them from seeing him.

He managed to escapes from hyenas, lions and other predators while hiding in the warthog's hole when the mother and the babies warthog gone out. Within 3 days after his journey. He finally reunite with his mother again.
